For those who are attending the Civil Defence Course on 29 May 2011, please report directly to the venue latest by 8.30a.m. Attire will be half Guides uniform. Please bring along your PT kit just in case.
The venue is at 80 Bukit Batok Road Singapore 658072.
It is at Bukit Batok Fire Station, opposite ITE College West.

Civil Defence Course 2011

Dear Guides,


All the Sec2s and Sec3s will be involved in the Civil Defence Course on the 28 May, Saturday, from 8.30am to 6pm.

The Civil Defence Course is to provide participants with knowledge in Civil Defence skills such as fire fighting and emergency preparedness. Participants will undergo both theory and practical lessons, to put them into practice in times of emergency both in school and at home.

Those who are unable to make it on the above mentioned date, please inform your phone relay leader latest by 17th May 2011, 10pm.

Training on 20th May 2011

Dear Guides,


There will be training on the 20th May 2011, Friday. Fall in outside Guides room at 2.30pm sharp in your pt kit. Bring must haves. There is no need, to fall in in the morning and bring your uniform.

For the training, we wil be focusing on testwork and badges.
For those who have not completed the section on WAGGGS and International, please complete it at home and hand it up at the start of the training. For more details of how to do the two testwork, you can refer to the post above. In addition, please bring along any other materials you may need, to complete
one other testwork/badgework during training.
For those who have completed one of the two sections mentioned above, you are to complete the other one and also prepare another testwork/badgework at home, and hand it up at the start of the training. Likewise, bring along any materials you may need, to complete one other testwork/badgework during training.
For those who have already completed the two sections as mentioned above, please complete either two testwork or one badgework at home and hand it up at the start of the training. You will also need to bring along materials you may need, to complete one other testwork/badgework during training.


Sec1s, if you need help on the testwork or badgework, please ask your buddy. Seniors, do guide your buddy along. Buddy allocation can be found in one of the earlier posts. If you need your buddy's number, please get it from your phone relay leader.
