Hey guides !

Hope that you had enjoyed today's CUG ceremony. Now that CCA has stand down, focus on your studies and do not procastinate and do last-minute revisions. I also hope that despite your tight schedule, you will be able to fork out some time to discuss with your respective ICs on the planning of sec4 farewell party. Thank you for all your cooperation.

Lastly, good luck to Ma'am Grace and Ma'am Melanie for preparation of their O'levels.

Thank you !

Best regards,
Ching Yu Hang n_n

Hey guides !
Below is the procedure for the enrolment ceremony.
Note: This is only part of the ceremony, there is still another part, called the roll call and inspection, which can be found in the guides handbook, from page 41 to 45.

THE ENROLMENT
Before being enrolled, the recruit must pass the Enrolment Test.

Form of Enrolment:
Captain: "Do you know what your honour means?”
Recruit:"My honour means that I can be trusted to be truthful and honest.”

Captain: "Can I trust you on your honour to do your best: To do your duty to God. To serve your country and to help other people, and To keep the Guide Law?"

The recruit and all enrolled Guides and Guiders give the Guide Sign while the recruit makes her
Promise:
Recruit:"I promise to do my best To do my duty to God, To serve my country and help other people, and To keep the Guide Law”

The Captain pins the Enrolment Badge on the Guide's scarf and says: "I trust you on your honour to keep this Promise and to try to do at least one Good Turn a day.”

The Guider shakes hands with the Guide and says: "You're now a member of the worldwide sisterhood of Guides. Salute the Colours. "

The Guide salutes the Colours.
The Guide turns to face the Company.
Captain:"Company, salute the new Guide.”
The new Guide returns the Company's salute.

Note: This form of enrolment is used for all members, with the exception of Brownies.

To sec 1s: Familiarise yourself with the ceremony procedure, so that you will not be blur on that day. However, do not worry as there will be rehearsals on it before the final ceremony. If you really need any help, feel free to approach any sec3s or sec2s on monday morning. You can also message us on any enquiries. :D

Lastly,
