Dear Guides,

We have been invited by the official organizer of the Community Chest ComChest Heartstrings Walk 2011 @ Marina Bay Sands to volunteer as crowd marshals. This is a charity event opened to the public where the proceeds of the registration fees go to Community Chest's beneficiaries.

The organiser would need approximately 100 Girl Guides to be volunteers in this event. In return, Community Chest will acknowledge your involvement through distribution of CIP hours.

Event Name: ComChest Heartstrings Walk 2011 @ Marina Bay Sands
Date: 22 May 2011, Sunday
Time: 0730hrs - 1000hrs
Guest of Honour: PM Lee Hsien Loong
Expected Crowd: 5,000
Distance: 4km (The walk will be done on pedestrian walkways (no roads involved).

Reporting Time on 22 May 2011: 0640hrs
Dismissal Time: 1100hrs
Reporting Venue: City Hall MRT Station
CIP Hours: 5hrs
Attire: Event Tee shirt or GG uniform (TBC)
